Hi, I’m Oliver Bennett.
I’m the editor behind Golf Simulator. I want this site to help you make sense of the equipment before you commit your room—and your budget—to it.
The part I care about most is how the pieces fit together. A launch monitor can look impressive on its own, but the useful questions are more personal: will it work in your room, with your computer, for the way you want to practise? Is the package complete, or are there several more purchases hiding behind the headline price?
What I want to make easier
My approach is to break those decisions into manageable steps. Start with the space. Understand the tracking system. Choose the hitting surface and containment. Then connect the software and image. That order helps keep a shiny feature from distracting you from a basic fit problem.
I write for people building a first home setup as well as people replacing one component. You should not need to know every acronym before you can compare two products, and a larger budget should not be treated as the answer to every question.
What you can expect here
Expect equipment comparisons, practical buying guides, and explanations of the details that change a purchase: compatibility, included accessories, recurring costs, room requirements, and everyday convenience. I want limitations to be as easy to find as selling points.
Each article should make its evidence clear. Manufacturer documentation, product specifications, and any direct observations serve different purposes; they should not be presented as if they were interchangeable. You can read more in the editorial policy.
How the site is supported
Some buying links may earn the site a commission. That relationship should be disclosed where it matters, and it does not remove the need to explain who a product suits or where it falls short. The affiliate disclosure covers this in more detail.
